How Anxiety Leads to Disruptive Behavior | Child Mind Institute
This is an informative article highlighting the connection with aggression and anxiety. ADHD and Anxiety can be comorbid disorders so the strategies and characteristics of both are beneficial to be aware of. As a parent of a child with some aggression and who is easily embarrassed in social situations, it is worthwhile to explore and learn more about anxiety and how it may be impacting his behaviour. The strategies we are using with our daughter may help him as well. I found this article helpful a great resource for both parents and educators. Looking for the ‘why’ behind the behaviour is the best thing we can do to help our kids learn strategies for the future.
